'Rubber to turn surplus by 2012'

The new chairman of Rubber Board , Sheela Thomas, has assumed charge at a time when rubber prices are at a historic high. The average domestic price of rubber stood at Rs 190.03 per kg in 2010-11 compared to Rs 114.98 per kg in the previous year.
