Mysore market short on cotton seeds

Farmers who were planning to start sowing of the cotton crop, to take advantage of the recent rainfalls were crestfallen when they went to purchase cotton seeds. There were no cotton seeds available in the Mysore market and what was on offer were available at high prices.
